Yellowstone Or Bust

Yesterday we went to Land Between the Lakes. Enjoyed it, we need to go back there and spend more time. From there we drove directly home with only a stop for gas and quick Subway. We got home around 10:15 EDT, lost and hour on the GA TN border. It was a wonderful trip, so glad we got to spend it with our kids and grandkids. What a wonderful country we live in.

My previous note was listed under draft and I was able to publish it, someday I may actually understand how to do all this stuff. Maybe by our next trip we will be able to add pictures.

We had a great time in Branson, went to the show SIX, road the train , visited the old town and the new shopping mall on the lake. Yesterday went down to AR to Pea Ridge NMP and George Washington Carver's birthplace and back into MO and Precious Moments (think ceramic dolls with teardrop eyes) I really enjoyed seeing all that has been made and about the man who made them,he is an artist. We are now heading to TN and KY. the Land Between the Lakes.

I tried to write this morning and it all disapeared. We had a great time in Branson, saw the show SIX, took the train ride and shopped the Branson Landing. Went to Pea Ridge AR and Precious Moments, MO (think the cermaic teardrop eyed dolls), I think we will try to go back, too many shows too see on a short visit. Today we drove to Land Between The Lakes, tomorrow we will see the area.

We are now in Branson, CO. Drove from KA with a stop at Fort Scott tne onward. We made a reservation for the show Six tomorrow at 8:00pm and tried to make an on line reservation to ride the train at 2:00pm. They will call us tomorrow. We are here for 3 nights. Tonight we went to a great Italian resturant and then drove around. This reminds me of both Gatlinburg, TN and Myrtle Beach SC. It was very busy with lots of mini golf, show and even an amusement park, Silver Dollar City. There is way more to do than we can do in 3 days.
